PARTY! PARTY! PARTY!

Yes, it's been years since I made a post on my blog, "Walk This Way". And even longer since I have updated The Living Room website. But as a firm believer of the adage, "Better late than Never", here are some shots from the opening night of the exhibition "All the Art I Can Fit In My Roller Skate Case", a show curated by our curator-in-residence, the lovely Ms. Marlyne Sahakian (below) last October 15, 2006.

The belle of the evening, preparing sushi and documents.

Marlyne (above), chatting up Manila fashion designer/icon/repatriate, Helena Guerrero of Azabache, while I shake my hand (some odd reason) while talking to The Living Room tech director Denis Lagdameo and performance artist, Judy Sibayan. Some other guests of the evening, photographer Ben Razon of the OarHouse website (who took these pictures, thanks man), Fil-Canadian director Romeo Candido, that cute little child posted below, and a smattering of students, Malate neighbors, and other creative types.

Poetry on the windowpanes.

Pictures on the windows.

All in all, it was a good evening. The booze was all consumed, the sushi was wiped out, and lots of interesting conversations occured until the party broke up at about midnight. It was a great way to start the Holiday season. We hope to see you all again at our next event.
